On February 25, the Tianrun Group consortium successfully won the bid for the second-stage dredging and sediment disposal project in the area around Palma Island, Guayas Province, Ecuador. The winning bid was $44 million.

 

This project is located in Guayaquil, the capital of Guayas Province, Ecuador, where the Guayas River flows into the sea, the northwest coast of Guayaquil Bay, and the southeast side of the Pacific Ocean. This project is a key area for river management in Guayaquil, and it is the overall needs of the municipal government and the people to carry out river management here. The implementation of this project can not only improve the flood control standard of the river, expand the usable area, but also improve the local ecological environment and promote the comprehensive development of various industries.
